for Athens Pride Week

with Fo B2B VRGN, Salin

As part of Athens Pride Week, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), in partnership with Athens Pride and HER Project presents DJs Salin and Fo & VRGN, who will share the SNFCC stage, in a powerful line-up that you will have the opportunity to watch through live streaming.

Gender inequality is an international phenomenon that is taking on ever-growing political and social dimensions, creating a pressing need to take action to fight for equality. Institutions dealing with gender equality and aiming at the osmosis of ideas, views and actions, as things stand today, are being established globally. Athens Pride Week supports actions aimed at gender equality, promoting the rights and claims of all persons not confined within the dominant social paradigm and traditional social structures.

Fofi aka Fo is a leading figure in the Greek dance music scene. She has played at all major clubs in the country,  shared the decks with several international DJs and she holds the longest living residency at a club in the country, being a resident of Sodade2 BackStage for the past 20 years.

Brimming with curiosity and passion for electronic music, Virginia aka VRGN is an upcoming talent to watch. Within 2 years she has already played in some of the biggest venues in the Greek scene, sharing the decks with both Greek DJs and international ones such and also performed at the first edition of Sónar festival in Athens, in a B2B session with Fo. Fo & VRGN have been appearing as a duo the past months, and have been playing dynamic,  unpredictable and very much talked-about B2B sets.

Salin always had an interest in arts, so after her studies in photography, she decided to study electronic music production in 2017. She released her first track at the end of 2017 and has been working on many projects since then.

Her love for music made her want to get more involved, so a year later she started playing music as a Dj. Her appearances count several underground events at many Athenian clubs. She has also held residencies at Bolivar Beach Bar and The Black Hole.

Ηer sets are melodic with ethereal and atmospheric sounds but also dynamic as she wants to convey the audience on a never-ending journey through music and feelings.
